Our water treatment system uses reverse osmosis and mixed bed de-mineralising resin to produce 100% pure, laboratory grade water. De-mineralised water tries to return to its natural impure state by actively absorbing all dirt, chemicals and minerals it comes across. This means that, when used for window cleaning, the final rinse water dries to a perfect finish, with no visible mineral deposits, because the minerals have been removed from the window cleaning water. With continued use the window isn't just clean, its totally sterile. This the process is environmentally friendly, because no chemicals or detergents are being used.

Normal tap water contains not only hydrogen and oxygen, but also other chemical elements like calcium, chlorine, iron and copper. Therefore, washing windows with untreated tap water, and leaving them to dry, once the hydrogen and oxygen have evaporated, will mean that chemicals and mineral residues are left on the glass leaving streaks and other water marks.

Our 4 stage filtration system removes chemical and mineral content from the water so that when it evaporates, it leaves sparkling glass with no mineral deposits and marks behind. Our commercial water softener firstly removes the calcium, our carbon filter removes the chlorine, two 800 gpd RO units filter water to produce 95-98% pure water stored = in holding tank. (GPD = Gallons per Day), and finally our mixed bed resin de-ionisation tank polishes water from holding tank at point of use to deliver 100% pure water to the water fed pole. Glass used to produce double glazed sealed units is washed and rinsed using de-mineralised water prior to assembly. This is the reason that sealed units will remain optically perfect for many years, until the seal is broken.
