It doesn’t get any safer

Excel have underlined their commitment to Health & Safety by updating their Health & Safety policy ensuring that every consideration is given to keeping people safe on and around sites on which we work. Excel has just completed their first full year of their Health & Safety partnership with Health & Safety specialists NorthgateArinso and the update reflects the continuous improvement that this partnership has made possible.

‘It depends on your outlook. Either Health & Safety gets in the way of what you’re doing or it ensures that everything you do keeps you, your people and the public safe. The choice is simple for us, we’d rather take the safe option than take the risk and NorthgateArinso have really helped us to hone our Health & Safety focus,’ commented Paul Aldam, General Manager. ‘It’s the first thing we look at when quoting and we don’t stop thinking about it until we leave site having completed the work.’ Rumour has it he won’t eat his breakfast without a risk assessment!
